Edward James Marvin Evensen, age 82, passed away June 29, 2014, in Pleasant Grove, Utah. Born on June 4, 1932, in Cedar City, Utah, to Fredrick and Ellen Barnett Evensen. Married Norma Rae Bracken June 12, 1953, in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Edward was an active member of the LDS church. He retired as a manager of Allen’s Food Town in American Fork. He also worked for Covenant Communications. He is survived by his wife, Norma, his children: Carol Ann (Randy) Hardman, Pamela Kay Moe, Debra Lynn Evensen, Terri Lee (Steven) Bendixsen, Lloyd Edward (Marie) Evensen, Sally Marie Evensen, Fred A (Lar) Evensen, 18 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren, siblings: Ruth Broadbent, Melvin Evensen. Preceded in death by his parents, a daughter, Dawna, two sons-in-law, George and Leon, two sisters and a brother. Funeral services will be Wednesday, July 2, 2014, at 11 a.m. in the American Fork 5th Ward, 381 S. 300 East. Friends may call Tuesday from 6-8 p.m. at Anderson & Sons Mortuary, 49 E. 100 North, American Fork, and Wednesday from 9:45-10:45 a.m. at the church prior to the services.
